Driver from Fostoria transported to hospital after crash
A driver from Fostoria was injured in a car accident on Sunday morning at around 10:14 a.m. in the 1400 block of Fostoria Avenue. The Findlay Police Department reported that Ava Schlachter, an 18-year-old from Fostoria, was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco EMS with possible broken bones. She was later transferred to ProMedica Hospital in Toledo for further treatment. Schlachter was driving a 2015 Ford Fusion on Fostoria Ave. when the vehicle hit a utility pole after veering off the road. The Findlay Fire Department also responded to the scene to assist.
