Driver ejected in rollover crash on Veterans Parkway in Reno, police say
A driver was killed early Saturday after being ejected in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Veterans Parkway in south Reno. Reno police, Reno Fire and REMSA responded at about 12:16 a.m. June 13, 2026, to a report of a rollover on Veterans Parkway south of Mira Loma Drive. Investigators said the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it failed to maintain its travel lane, entered the raised center median and began to roll. The driver, who was the sole occupant, was ejected and was declared dead at the scene. The identity of the driver was being withheld pending notification of next of kin. Veterans Parkway was closed in both directions from Mira Loma Drive to S. Meadows Parkway and reopened around 7 a.m. Saturday. The Reno Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team is handling the investigation. Anyone with information was urged to call the Reno Police Department non-emergency line at 775-334-2677.
