Driver charged with second-degree murder after passenger dies in Graham crash, court documents show
GRAHAM, N.C. (WGHP) — A man has been charged with second-degree murder after the car he was driving last weekend crashed, leaving the passenger dead, according to Alamance County court documents. On March 28 at around 9:17 p.m., officers with the GPD and other agencies responded to a crash at the intersection of South Main Street and Moore Street involving a 2020 Jeep Wrangler and a 1999 Ford Mustang. The Jeep was overturned in the crash. The passenger of the Jeep, Imani Janel Vaughn, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Jeep, Taisean Malachi Jones, 24, of Raleigh, was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. On Saturday, Jones was arrested and charged with second-degree murder without regard. His first court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
