Car slams into pedestrians during street takeover hit-and-run, 2 hospitalized
Two people were seriously injured after they were hit by a car during a street takeover event in the North Hills neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley Sunday evening. Paramedics responded to the emergency at the intersection of Plummer Street and Haskell Avenue at 5:55 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Video of the crash shows the car slam into the pedestrians, knocking one unconscious. The other victim suffered a severely broken leg, gruesome video of the crash shows.
