Driver charged with DUI after fatal Anderson County motorcycle crash
The driver involved in Wednesday's night's crash that left one motorcyclist dead has been charged with DUI, officials say.Authorities report that Bre-anna Allece Bigby has been charged with felony DUI involving death. Bigby is being held at the Anderson County Detention Center.One person is dead after a crash in Anderson County, South Carolina.According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash happened about 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of Broadway School Road and Cox Lane Road in Belton. Troopers say a motorcycle hit a car while crossing the intersection.The driver of the car was taken to the hospital with injuries, and the driver of the motorcycle died at the hospital.The victim has been identified as Cody Monroe Williams, 33, of Belton. Williams died from multiple traumatic injuries. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, the coroner said.
