Driver charged in crash that killed 1 and injured 6
In McAllen, Texas, a tragic accident took place resulting in one fatality and six injuries due to suspected drunk driving. The incident occurred at the 1600 block of North Bicentennial Boulevard early Saturday morning. The vehicle, a Ford Bronco, overturned after hitting a stone fixture. The occupants, aged 18 to 25, were all injured and taken to a local hospital. Jacob Rodriguez, 25, tragically lost his life in the collision. The driver, Gabriela Nunez Garcia, 18, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and faces serious charges, including intoxication manslaughter.
