Driver burned when car crashes into bridge and bursts into flames
A bystander jumped in to help after a car burst into flames after crashing into a bridge.The vehicle also damaged a utility pole during the 12:30 p.m. Wednesday crash on Bailey Avenue. The driver of the vehicle was burned in the fire, according to emergency responders at the scene.A female passenger was also injured in the crash. Both the male driver and the passenger were taken to a hospital. Capitol Police officers responded to the crash.
