Driver arrested for suspected impairment following Tesla crash on Nevada highway
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Nevada Highway Patrol arrested a driver on suspicion of impairment after two Teslas were involved in a collision Tuesday morning. According to NHP, the collision happened shortly after 5:30 a.m. on the northbound I-11 south of I-15 on Tuesday, April 14. The crash involved two Teslas, one a gray Model 3 and a black sedan, police said. Medical took two people to a local hospital for their injuries sustained in the crash. Police did not specify how severe those injuries were. NHP arrested a driver at the scene for suspected impairment. It was not immediately clear what charges they could face.
