DPS: Fatal crash closes SH 45 over SH 183 near Mustang Ridge, Creedmoor
AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Emergency crews closed eastbound lanes of SH 45 over SH 183 southeast of Austin near Creedmoor Friday after a fatal crash. The Texas Department of Public Safety said the crash happened around 2:30 p.m. and all eastbound lanes were closed. Troopers said two vehicles were involved in the crash. The Travis County Sheriff's Office said in a post on social media that drivers should seek alternate routes. DPS officials were not sure when the section of roadway would reopen.
