DOT plow truck involved in tractor-trailer crash on I-84 East in Southington
SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A Connecticut Department of Transportation plow truck was involved in a tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 84 Wednesday morning, a representative with the department confirmed. The highway remains closed between exits 32 and 33 on the eastbound side as of 6:45 a.m. State police said the crash involved a tractor-trailer and DOT plow truck in the median. It was reported just before 4 a.m. Spokesperson Eva Zymaris said the DOT driver involved will be okay. She said the crash is under investigation. According to state police, the drivers were transported to a hospital for evaluation of minor and non-life threatening injuries.
