Docs: Man arrested after Harrison hit-and-run turns deadly
A man has died and another has been arrested after a hit-and-run in Harrison early Saturday morning.According to an affidavit filed in Hamilton County Municipal Court Tyler Black was recklessly driving his 2022 Toyota Tundra when he hit Jeffrey Muse, 52, who was riding his bicycle on Harrison Avenue.Documents allege Black was traveling at a high rate of speed and hit Muse with the truck, knocking him off his bicycle. Officials say Black then stopped in a nearby parking lot, and he and two other passengers exited the vehicle and walked towards the area where Muse was lying after he was hit.Officials say Black and his passengers walked back to the truck, removed Muse's hat that had been stuck in the front of the vehicle, re-entered the truck and left the scene, traveling west on Harrison Ave.Muse later died due to his injuries.Black has been charged with aggravated vehicular homicide and stopping after an accident on public roads or highways. In an arraignment Monday, Black was given a $40,000 bond and had his license suspended.
