Deadly multi-vehicle crash closes I-25 northbound in Lone Tree
DENVER (KDVR) — A multiple vehicle crash on Interstate 25 northbound in Lone Tree killed at least one person and closed the interstate for several hours Sunday morning. The crash happened at around 5 a.m. on I-25 northbound at Lincoln Avenue, shutting down that side of the interstate, Lone Tree officials said. Officials said there would be a heavy police presence in the area and to avoid the area. Lone Tree officials at 9:04 a.m. Sunday said the roadway was expected to reopen within the next hour. Officials did not say what caused the crash or how many people were injured.
