Deadly motorcycle crash in Tully, State Route 281 closed in both directions
TULLY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- A deadly motorcycle crash has closed State Route 281 in Tully. New York State Police say that around 11:15 a.m., an SUV was taking a left from a parking lot onto 281 when it collided with the motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. NY-Alert sent out a notification that a crash has closed all lanes, in both directions, between Meeting House Road (Tully) and Preble Road (Preble). Photos by Victoria Kellogg. The NYSDOT and New York State Police are currently on scene. The SUV driver was not injured. The New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) responded to the scene and is assisting with the investigation. Members of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) are also assisting.
