Deadly I-99 crash caused by wrong-way driver; Road reopened
UPDATE: BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) -- I-99 north has been cleared and has been reopened for travelers. BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) -- A deadly crash is causing delays for drivers on I-99 North in Blair County Friday. The crash happened just past the Tyrone exit of I-99. It's been confirmed that the Blair County Coroner's Office has been called to the scene. Pennsylvania State Police said the crash was caused by a wrong-way driver going south in the northbound lanes. While further details are limited, Excelsior Fire Company said they are currently at the scene and that traffic is being detoured off the highway at the Tyrone exit.
