LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Wednesday afternoon crash at the intersection of Man o' War Boulevard and Versailles Road near Blue Grass Airport has led to multiple lane closures and detours. It happened just before 1 p.m. on March 11, according to the Lexington Police Department. A passenger car allegedly hit a semi-truck that was towing another semi. Officers told FOX 56 News that the driver of the car was taken to a local hospital for "serious injuries." According to local traffic authorities, all lanes into downtown Lexington are shut down at Man o' War Boulevard, with traffic being diverted to the road's outer loop. On Versailles Road, the outbound left turn lanes onto Man o' War have been closed. In an update around 3:30 p.m., officials said the inbound, eastbound lane is blocked at Man o' War Boulevard. Traffic is being diverted to Man-O-War Blvd. The outbound, westbound two lanes are open, but the left turn lanes to access the airport are blocked. The inner loop of Man o' War Boulevard is blocked at Parkers Mill Road, and traffic is being diverted to Parkers Mill, except airport traffic. The crash is still under investigation.
