Crash involving 18-wheeler considered a mass casualty incident with at least 12 injured
Hopkinsville Fire and EMS report that a crash on I-24 has now injured 12 people and is considered a mass casualty incident. Emergency personnel responded to a crash on 91 mm of I-24 Westbound involving an 18-wheeler and at least three other cars. The original announcement said there could be up to 5 patients but the number has now climbed to at least 12. Authorities advise drives to avoid travelling in this area.
