Crash closes I-84 West in Southington
Connecticut state troopers were called to a collision on Interstate 84 West in Southington on Saturday afternoon, temporarily shutting down the westbound lanes between Exits 32 and 31. The roadway has since been reopened after the crash that occurred around 2:30 p.m. Some lanes on I-84 East were also closed but have since reopened, as confirmed by the Connecticut Department of Transportation. Connecticut State Police mentioned injuries from the incident, although the severity is currently not known.
