Couple in their 80s tragically killed in accident near Fresno.
The Fresno County Coroner's Office has identified the elderly couple, Ted Amber, 87, and Sharon Amber, 86, from Clovis, who tragically passed away in a head-on collision north of Fresno. The couple was driving on Auberry Road when a Dodge Durango veered into their lane, resulting in a fatal crash. The driver of the Dodge, 21-year-old Lazaro Hernandez, has been arrested on charges of two counts of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence. While a Drug Recognition Expert evaluation found no impairment in Hernandez's system, traces of marijuana were found inside his vehicle, according to the CHP.
