Coroner: Man killed in single-vehicle crash on Dunnings Highway
An East Freedom man died as a result of a crash in Blair County on Tuesday evening, according to the Blair County Coroner’s Office. Blair County Coroner Ray Benton said his office was called to the 14000 block of Dunnings Highway in East Freedom just before 7 p.m. He said Steven Emerick, 33, had died after being involved in the single-vehicle crash, and that Emerick was the only occupant of the vehicle. Benton said an autopsy is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Wednesday. The crash remains under investigation by the Freedom Township Police Department.
