Collision involving semi truck along NB I-5 near Grapevine Rd slows traffic
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A collision involving two semi trucks with one of them crashing into a guardrail, is causing delays for drivers along I-5 south of Bakersfield. The crash was reported at around 4 p.m. along northbound lanes of I-5 near Grapevine Road, according to the California Highway Patrol's Traffic Incident Information Page. One semi involved crashed into a guardrail at the #1 lane, damaging it. The #1 lane was shut down for emergency crews. The crash has caused a long line of traffic behind it in the northbound lanes. A Caltrans camera showed a truck brash through the guardrail and close to the edge of the embankment. No injuries were reported in the collision. Expect delays in the area.
