Closures, restrictions in place along State Route 51 in Allegheny County due to serious crash
A section of State Route 51 in Allegheny County is closed, and another portion is restricted following a serious crash on Sunday afternoon. VIDEO: Top stories on Pittsburgh's Action News 4Brentwood Borough officials are urging drivers to avoid the area of State Route 51 (Clairton Boulevard) near Stilley Road following a crash. Northbound Rt. 51 is closed at Stilley Road, while the southbound direction is restricted to one lane. Allegheny County dispatchers confirmed to Pittsburgh's Action News 4 that two people were injured and at least one person was taken to the hospital. The SHACOG Crash Reconstruction Team is responding to the scene. Officials said the closure will remain in place as an investigation is conducted. "Please seek an alternate route if possible and expect significant delays," Brentwood Borough said.
