Clarksville mourns crossing guard killed in car accident
Clarksville, Tenn. - There has been a tragic incident in Clarksville where a beloved community member, 46-year-old Latrice Dodson, who served as a crossing guard with the Clarksville Police Department, lost her life in a fatal crash last week. The accident occurred on Dec. 19 on 101st Airborne Division Parkway, leaving the whole community deeply saddened by the loss. Latrice's close friend, Tiki Lailanie Hopkins, recalls her as a source of strength and inspiration, highlighting Latrice's warm and welcoming personality, which brought joy to those around her. Latrice's daughter, who was also involved in the accident, is facing a difficult recovery journey both physically and emotionally. Despite the challenges, the community is rallying behind her to provide support during this difficult time. The incident is still under investigation by Clarksville police, and charges are pending.
