Child killed, 2 hurt in head-on crash after car crossed center line
A child was killed and two other people were seriously injured in a head-on crash Wednesday night in Ross County. The crash happened just before 8 p.m. on state Route 3-27 when a Chevy Malibu crossed the center line and hit a truck traveling in the opposite direction. The truck’s driver suffered minor injuries. The Malibu’s driver was flown to Grant, and a child in the front seat was flown to Nationwide Children’s. A child who was in the back seat of the Malibu was taken to Chillicothe-Adena Medical Center, where the child died. The names of the victims haven't been released. An investigation is underway.
