Child injured in Southwest Memphis crash, shooting: MPD
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Police say a juvenile is in critical condition following a shooting and a crash in Southwest Memphis Tuesday night. Minutes after 5 pm, officers responded to an accident call in the 900 block of Pawnee. Officers said they saw a vehicle consistent with a shooting and located a minor who was injured. The juvenile was transported to the hospital. Police have not said if they were shot. MPD said a woman was also transported to the hospital in non-critical condition for an unrelated medical issue. Officers said they are working a scene at Raines and Third Street, connected to the incident. Authorities said this is an ongoing investigation.
