Child in hospital following northeast Albuquerque accident
Law enforcement is currently addressing a vehicle collision involving a young motorcycle rider who has been hospitalized. The juvenile is in critical condition, as reported by the Albuquerque Police Department. Following an incident near the Edith Boulevard and La Donna Lane NE intersection, a police representative described the juvenile's motorcycle as a 'small minibike.' Authorities revealed through their investigation that two juveniles were riding minibikes southward on Edith, with one of them on the dirt shoulder beside the traffic lanes. Subsequently, the juvenile on the shoulder transitioned into the opposing traffic lane, resulting in a head-on collision and their ejection from the bike.
