Car goes over Mason County bridge in fatal crash
MASON COUNTY, W.Va. (WOWK) — One person is dead after a car went over the retaining wall in Mason County Saturday. Responders told a 13 News reporter on the scene that the vehicle went into the middle median ditch on U.S. 35 at 16 Mile Creek Bridge, hit a sign, then went into and over the concrete retaining wall between the two lanes, falling into the level below.
