BPD accompanies deceased officer's body to funeral home post deadly accident
Members of the Baltimore Police Department honored a fallen colleague on Monday following the tragic death of officer James Beckham in a serious car accident on Interstate 695. Beckham, who was off-duty at the time, passed away in the four-car crash. The BPD escorted his body from the medical examiner's office to a funeral home. Baltimore City state's attorney Ivan Bates expressed condolences, acknowledging Beckham's service, sacrifice, and dedication to the city. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
