Boat crash sparks emergency response in Intracoastal Waterway
Multiple agencies responded Saturday afternoon after boats crashed in the Intracoastal Waterway near Jupiter. According to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue , crews were dispatched around 1:20 p.m. to the area near Channel Marker 15 following reports of a boating collision. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, the Jupiter Police Department , the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission , and the U.S. Coast Guard all responded to the scene. Rescue crews made contact with those on board and confirmed that everyone was accounted for. No injuries were reported, and no one requested transportation to a hospital, according to PBCFR. The cause of the collision was not immediately released. Authorities have not said whether any citations or charges are expected.
