Bicyclist hospitalized after South Shore crash
A bicyclist was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon following a collision with a motor vehicle in Quincy, Massachusetts.The crash occurred just before 3 p.m. in the area of Adams Street and Furnace Brook Parkway.Sky5 was over the scene where you could see extensive damage to the windshield of the vehicle.Quincy police said the bicyclist was transported to an area hospital with injuries, but did not provide an update on the victim's condition.The vehicle remained at the scene and it's unclear if the driver will face any charges.The Quincy Police Department Accident Reconstruction Unit is investigating the scene and traffic is being diverted from the area.NewsCenter 5 will bring you updates as they become available.
