Bell County hit-and-run suspect located in Laredo
A person suspected of being involved in a hit-and-run incident that resulted in a fatality has been located and apprehended in Laredo. The Texas Department of Public Safety received a report of a fatal crash on Interstate 35 in Salado involving a tow truck driver named David Conrad Holz, who was tragically killed while working to load a disabled vehicle onto his truck. Subsequent investigations based on dash camera footage from the tow truck identified the suspect as 24-year-old Jesse G. Hernandez, Jr., from Killeen. Hernandez was arrested in Laredo and taken to the Webb County Jail. The investigation is ongoing, according to DPS.
