Bay Area man killed in skiing accident at Northstar identified
(KRON) -- A Bay Area man was killed over the weekend in a skiing accident at a Tahoe ski resort. The man, identified as 53-year-old Stuart McLaughlin of Hillsborough, died on Sunday at Northstar Ski Resort. According to the Placer County Sheriff's Office, the coroner unit responded to a fatal skiing accident at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15. "We extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones," the sheriff's office told KRON4. No other details were immediately available.
