Authorities respond to head-on collision on Sheldon Road
Authorities from Harris County are currently at the scene of a head-on collision that took place on Tuesday evening. The incident happened on Sheldon Road near Business 90 and involved two pickup trucks. One truck, a white F-250, veered into the opposite lanes and struck a Ford F-150. The driver of the F-250 was taken to the hospital by ambulance and is expected to survive, while the driver of the F-150 was airlifted to Memorial Hermann and is also expected to survive. Two passengers in the F-150 are expected to be okay. Sheldon Road is currently closed in both directions, and motorists are advised to steer clear of the area. Conditions of the F-150 passengers were not disclosed.
