Authorities react to Black Friday collision in images
A tragic accident occurred late Friday in Luzerne County, resulting in the death of a woman. The Plains Township Police Department responded to reports of a car colliding with a light post on Laird Street and State Route 315 around 10:30 p.m. The victim, identified as Sylvia Naitore, 27, from Pittston, was taken to the hospital but sadly succumbed to multiple traumatic injuries, as confirmed by Luzerne County Coroner Dion Fernandes. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by authorities.
