Authorities investigate fatal Woodbury crash on Route 14
WOODBURY, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - State police are investigating a deadly head-on crash they say occurred near Hattie Bell Road, on Route 14 Saturday. Authorities were first notified about the crash at roughly 9:30 a.m. Investigators report that a 2005 Toyota Corolla traveling south, operated by a Danville man, failed to "negotiate a curve". Said vehicle crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2023 Ford F-250. The Toyota driver sustained serious injuries, and was reportedly taken to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Two kids in that vehicle, one seat belted and another in a car seat, were both pronounced dead at the scene. The ford driver was taken to UVM Medical Center for minor injuries, and their passenger was also taken there for serious injuries. Vermont State Police say the crash remains under investigation. Those with information tied to this situation can reach Trooper Alexis Marciniak at the Berlin Barracks by calling 802-229-9191.
