KILLINGLY — At least one person has died after a vehicle struck a house on Hartford Pike Wednesday night, according to Connecticut State Police. The incident was reported around 10:20 p.m. at a house along the road, also known as Route 101, according to Trooper First Class Pedro Muniz. "Fatal injuries were sustained," Muniz said in a statement. He did not immediately say where exactly the crash occurred or how many people were killed. The state police crash reconstruction unit, or CARS, assisted in the investigation, Muniz said. He said the road was closed but has since reopened. No other information on the fatal crash was immediately available. This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
