Anthony Joshua shares first photos since tragic car accident in Nigeria

After being involved in a car accident that tragically took the lives of two of his close friends in Nigeria, Anthony Joshua has reappeared on social media for the first time, sharing pictures of himself with grieving relatives. He was discharged from the hospital on New Year's Eve with minor injuries sustained in the incident. The former world heavyweight champion returned to London for the memorial services of Sina Ghami and Latif 'Latz' Ayodele. The photos shared by Joshua on platforms like X and Instagram include a tribute caption: 'My Brothers Keeper.' Ghami and Ayodele, who were integral members of Joshua's team, were deeply mourned in a statement released by Joshua's spokesperson. Floral tributes can be seen at Ghami's gym in north London. The driver of the car, Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, involved in the crash has been charged by Nigerian police with serious offences. Joshua, with Nigerian roots, had been in the country after his boxing victory over Jake Paul in Miami.
