Amarillo police investigate after man hit by car in fight on Amarillo Blvd
Amarillo police are investigating a "major traffic accident" on Amarillo Boulevard they say stemmed from a parking lot altercation early Sunday morning. According to police officials, officers were dispatched early Sunday morning "to a major traffic accident in the 2400 blk of Amarillo Blvd E." When officers arrived, they learned a fight had happened in a parking lot in which a man "was struck by a red Dodge Charger." Police said two males were transported by ambulance to local hospitals with injuries. The case remains under active investigation by the Amarillo Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit.
