Alcohol possible factor in Cowlitz County rollover crash that hospitalized 4

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A two-vehicle rollover crash in Cowlitz County sent four people to the hospital early Thursday morning, and officials say alcohol may have been a factor. Crews responded to the area of 4013 Ocean Beach Hwy just before 2 a.m. after receiving reports that a passenger truck had rolled over onto its top and another vehicle had rolled onto its side. When Cowlitz 2 Fire and Rescue officials arrived, they found two men trapped upside down inside the truck. The passengers in the other vehicle has been able to get out on their own. The men inside the truck were immediately taken to the hospital while the other two people were evaluated at the scene before transportation. The exact cause of the crash is currently unknown, though officials believe alcohol was involved. An investigation is ongoing. Stay with KOIN 6 News as this story develops.
