91-year-old driver killed in I-64 crash in Alleghany County
Authorities are currently looking into a car accident on eastbound I-64 in Alleghany County, Virginia. Regrettably, a 91-year-old man named Billy Jack Camden of Covington, Virginia lost his life in the single-vehicle crash. The incident occurred at 11:16 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 13, when Mr. Camden's 2017 Subaru Crosstrek lost control, crossed the median, and struck the guardrail. Despite wearing his seatbelt, Mr. Camden succumbed to his injuries after being taken to LewisGale Alleghany Hospital. The Virginia State Police are still investigating the details surrounding this tragic event.
