88-year-old man hit, killed in Pismo Beach
PISMO BEACH, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – An 88-year-old Arroyo Grande man has died after he was hit by a car in Pismo Thursday, according to the Pismo Beach Police Department. Police say around 10:15 a.m., officers responded to a crash involving the man and a vehicle in the parking lot of Med Plus, on Oak Park Blvd. When officers arrived, medical personnel from Med Plus were helping the man. The man was transported to a local hospital, but he died on the way to the hospital. Police say the driver of the vehicle remained on scene and was cooperative with the investigation. The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department was notified, and the death investigation was turned over to the Coroner Investigators.
