37-year-old man killed in rollover crash on icy road in St. Clair County
A fatal accident occurred in Kenockee Township, Michigan, on Saturday night when a 37-year-old man driving a truck rolled over. The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office reported that the crash took place on Kilgore Road, just north of Imlay City Road. Emergency personnel from the Kenockee Township Fire Department and the sheriff's office arrived at the scene around 7:24 p.m. According to investigators, the man was traveling in a Chevrolet Silverado heading northbound when the vehicle veered off the road, went into a ditch, and flipped over, causing him to be thrown from the truck. Authorities mentioned that the road was icy and snowy at the time of the incident. Despite being taken to the hospital, the man passed away later on. The crash, which did not involve drugs or alcohol according to officials, was still being investigated as of Sunday.
