3 injured in fiery Sacramento County crash, Highway 50 traffic delayed
Three people were hurt in a crash on Highway 50 that caused a small fire, according to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District. Sac Metro Fire said that crews responded to crash near Prairie Road in Folsom. The crash involved two vehicles, with one of them overturning on its roof and requiring a person to be extricated and taken to the hospital. The other vehicle caught fire which spread along the side of the highway. Officials said crews quickly contained the vehicle fire and the grass fire. Two people who were in the vehicle that caught fire were taken to the hospital. One of them suffered moderate injuries and the other is in critical condition, Sac Metro Fire said.
