Renewed calls for drivers, pedestrians to be aware after fatal crash in Portland

As Portland Police investigate a deadly pedestrian crash in the city's Bayside neighborhood on Tuesday, advocates are urging drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists to pay extra attention to their surroundings."Another pedestrian lost their lives and it didn't have to be this way," said Andrew Zarro, the director of the Bicycle Coalition of Maine.Zarro's organization works to create safe roadways for cyclists, pedestrians, and drivers across Maine.Portland Police are continuing to investigate and have not released any additional details or the cause of the crash, but Zarro said it is on drivers and pedestrians to ensure everyone is safe on the road."Really easy solution here.
