27-year-old man killed after car crashes into Sheboygan County cornfield
A 27-year-old Howards Grove man died early Monday after his car crashed into a cornfield in Sheboygan County.The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office said dispatchers received an automatic crash notification around 12:20 a.m. reporting a crash near Garton and Bridgewood roads in the Town of Herman.Investigators said a Jaguar coupe was traveling east on Garton Road when it left the roadway and crashed into a cornfield just east of Bridgewood Road.The driver, who was the only person inside the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The man’s name has not been released.The sheriff’s office said the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
