24-year-old killed in deadly motorcycle accident in Las Vegas
A tragic incident involving a 24-year-old motorcyclist resulted in a fatality in central Las Vegas early Saturday morning. The incident occurred at the intersection of West Oakey Boulevard and Western Avenue around 12:20 a.m., involving a 2023 Nissan and a 2004 Yamaha motorcycle. As the Nissan made a left turn, it collided with the oncoming motorcycle, leading to the motorcyclist's unfortunate passing. Emergency medical services were unable to revive the rider, who was declared deceased at the scene. Authorities confirmed the driver of the Nissan was cooperative and displaying no signs of impairment. This fatality is the 156th traffic-related death under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for the year 2025.
