20-year-old arrested by Lakewood police for deadly DUI collision
In the city of Lakewood, Colorado, a 20-year-old woman named Ella Cromwell was recently arrested in connection with a suspected drunk driving incident that resulted in a fatality last month. Cromwell is facing charges including vehicular homicide, reckless driving, and DUI for causing a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of the 6th Avenue Frontage Road and Kipling Street early on November 30. The crash led to multiple ejections, and unfortunately, a female passenger in the victim's vehicle passed away from her injuries a few days later. Authorities suspect that speed and alcohol played a role in the accident. Additionally, there was another two-vehicle crash involving a bus in the same area a week later, injuring several students from the Grand Junction area.
