2 dead in Schaumburg crash involving motorcycle, SUV
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (WGN) - Two people died in a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV Saturday afternoon in Schaumburg. Officials said the crash happened at around 4:15 p.m. at the intersection of Golf Road and Commons Drive and involved a motorcycle and a Nissan Rogue. The two people on the motorcycle died at the scene and one passenger in the Nissan was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, according to investigators. Gold Road between Plum Grove and Commons Drive is currently closed in both directions and drivers are asked to find alternate routes at this time. No other information was released.
