2 dead, child critically injured in accident on I-75 north in south Macon, coroner says
Two people are dead, and a child is critically injured in an accident along the I-75 north in South Macon on Sunday evening. According to Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones, the multi-vehicle crash happened between the Rocky Creek Road and Newburg Avenue exits. 511 GA cameras show the accident happened around 5:24 p.m. at the I-75 north on-ramp, with multiple first responders at the scene. Jones says two adults were killed in the accident, and a child is in critical condition. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office said Georgia State Patrol is investigating the incident, and WGXA has reached out to learn more.
