19-year-old Ankeny woman dies after crash involving dump truck near Bondurant
The Polk County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday said one of the two people injured in Sunday afternoon's crash near Bondurant has died. Previous coverage in video above: Serious accident near Bondurant on SundayDeputies said the crash happened around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Northeast 56th Street and Northeast 94th Avenue. The collision involved a dump truck and a passenger car carrying two adult women. Authorities said on Tuesday the driver of the car, 19-year-old Samantha Moore, of Ankeny, has died. Her passenger, who taken by ambulance to a hospital, reportedly suffered serious injuries.
