19 people arrested in Fresno for DUI offenses
Fresno Police Department reports that 19 drivers were arrested for suspected DUI during an enforcement operation in Fresno, California. This DUI saturation took place from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. The officers will conduct another DUI enforcement operation on November 15, along with various DUI patrols and checkpoints throughout the year. It was mentioned that the California Office of Traffic Safety, in cooperation with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, provided a grant to support this effort. First-time DUI offenders could potentially face fines and penalties totaling around $13,500, in addition to having their license suspended.
